I could not be where I am today without the people above in this picture. They support, encourage, and always have my back. Family means so much to me and I strive to put that value into my work.
What got me into photography
I started taking pictures when I was in first grade! I was a part of 4H for 10 years and even had my photography make it to the state fair. I have mentors who have invested in me and continue to push me to create. I continued my passion through high school and college.
My Goals
- I want to capture pure moments that will last a lifetime.
- Continue to push my creativity out of my comfort zone.
- Travel out of the US to capture an elopement or wedding.
- Capture over 30 families a year!
Favorite gear
I am a cannon girl! My camera has a name actually! My first camera is named Jer. Jer was a professor I had in college who helped me grow in my skills as a photographer and person. My second camera is named Jen. Jen is named after a photographer whom I look up to!
My all-time favorite lens to use is the 50mm! Some like to call it the "Nifty-Fifty" She works every time!
